Product spotlight: The Little Bishop
Why do we like the Little Bishop pendant hook so much?
Using an exposed bulb and cord to replace a more traditional hanging pendant adds a clean simplicity to any living space. There are myriad options for the type of bulb or colour cord you can use, but until now less thought has been given to the design options for hanging the pendant. Which is why we wanted to talk about the Little Bishop Pendant Hook.
The first thing we like about it is that it’s not, well, a hook. It has a pleasingly simple form; it’s minimal, sculptural and discreet. As the designer himself says, “No knot, screw, bolt, clamp or pin is necessary.”
They come in three different lengths and are individually cast by hand so that each one is unique. It can be left brilliant white or painted to match your ceiling colour. And it costs £45. Enough said?
The Little Bishop Pendant Hook is designed by Antony Richards of Hunter and Richards and wonderfully they now have a stockist in the UK – So Furniture and you can buy yours here.
